作品について / About the Work

「やわらかい　あたたかい」は、佐藤令奈が2011年に制作した油彩作品です。赤ちゃんの寝顔を見つめる画面には、個人的な記憶や感情に閉じない、穏やかな普遍性が漂います。

代表作である赤ちゃんの寝顔は2008年から一貫して描き続けているモチーフです。安らかな寝顔は社会的にポジティブなものであり、そこにはネガティブな要素は存在しない。バックグラウンドや価値観を超えて文化や様々な違いをもつ私たちの間にも共有できる考えや感覚があるのではないかということを模索しています。

Soft and Warm is an oil painting created by Haruna Sato in 2011. Sato has continued to depict sleeping babies as one of her representative motifs since 2008. For the artist, the peaceful sleeping face is a socially positive image without negative elements, and it becomes a way to explore feelings and ideas that may be shared across different backgrounds, values, cultures, and ways of life.

作家について / About the Artist

佐藤令奈は1984年東京都生まれ。多摩美術大学美術学部絵画学科油画専攻を卒業し、2020年に愛知県立芸術大学大学院美術研究科油画専攻を修了。肌や身体、記憶、境界が溶け合うような感覚を手がかりに、油彩を中心とした絵画作品を制作しています。BSフジ「ブレイク前夜」に出演し、中之条ビエンナーレなど国内外の展覧会にも参加しています。

Haruna Sato was born in Tokyo in 1984. She graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Painting, Oil Painting Course, and completed the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Oil Painting Course, at Aichi University of the Arts in 2020. Working primarily in oil painting, Sato explores sensations of skin, body, memory, and dissolving boundaries. She has appeared on BS Fuji's "Break Zenya" and has participated in exhibitions in Japan and abroad, including the Nakanojo Biennale.
