満田晴穂 / Haruo Mitsuta

Born in Shimane Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Crafts, and completed graduate studies at the same university. A super-skilled artist who revives the "Jizai Okimono" technique that developed in the Edo period. His intricate three-dimensional works, crafted by hand-forging metal and featuring insects, crustaceans, and reptiles as motifs, have articulated joints that move, giving them a lifelike realism. Highly acclaimed by renowned collectors worldwide, his works have been exhibited in museums and galleries both domestically and internationally. Appeared on BS Fuji "Break Zenya" #40.
